UltraTech Commissions Second Grinding Mill At Maihar Plant

UltraTech Cement Ltd. on Thursday said it has commissioned a second cement grinding mill at its plant in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its ongoing expansion.

The new unit adds 1.8 million tonnes per annum to the company's capacity, it said in a filing to the stock exchanges. The first grinding mill at the Maihar facility began production in March.

With this addition, UltraTech Cement’s total consolidated domestic grey cement capacity stands at 186.86 million tonnes per annum. Its overseas capacity remains at 5.4 million tonnes per annum.
