PNB Drops Minimum Balance Penalty Across All Savings Accounts

Punjab National Bank has waived charges for not maintaining minimum average balance across all savings accounts, effective 1 July 2025, it said in a press release.

The initiative targets women, farmers, and low-income households, and is aimed at easing access to banking without balance maintenance penalties, PNB added.
