Government Holds 17.8% Stake in IREDA, No Pledge Created in 2025-26

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) said its promoter, the Government of India, held a 17.8% equity stake in the company as of March 31, 2026, with no encumbrance created during the year.

The holding, through the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, stood at 2,015.8 million shares at the end of 2025-26.

The company confirmed that no shares were pledged or otherwise encumbered, either directly or indirectly, during the financial year.

IREDA has submitted the annual disclosure to stock exchanges in line with SEBI takeover regulations.
