Dalmia Cement Receives CCI Probe Report On ONGC Tender Cases

Dalmia Bharat Ltd. on Friday said its subsidiary, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd., has received an investigation report from the Director General's office regarding alleged violations in ONGC's oil well cement tenders floated in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2018.

The Competition Commission of India is reviewing the report, and no final order has been passed yet. Dalmia Cement has been given eight weeks to submit its response and supporting documents. The investigation was initiated in 2020 over possible anti-competitive practices related to procurement tenders issued by state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp.
