Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. reported a net profit of ₹3.9 billion for the January–March quarter, up 53.5% on year and 4.7% on quarter, exceeding analyst expectations. Revenue rose 13% on year to ₹55.9 billion.
The healthcare services segment contributed over 51% of consolidated revenue, with revenue growing 10% on year to ₹28.43 billion. EBITDA for the segment rose 16% to ₹6.86 billion, supporting an overall EBITDA increase of 20% to ₹7.70 billion.
Subsidiary Apollo HealthCo Ltd., which oversees pharmacy retail and digital operations, saw a 17% rise in revenue to ₹23.8 billion, with EBITDA up to ₹363 million from ₹117 million. It added 266 pharmacy outlets, raising its total to 6,626.
The company acquired a 200-bed hospital and 2.53 acres of land in Sarjapur, Bengaluru, for ₹12.29 billion, increasing its local capacity to 1,500 beds. It is also expanding its Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad hospitals and building a new facility in Gachibowli, taking Hyderabad’s capacity to 1,400 beds.
Apollo plans to add 4,300 beds over the next 3–4 years. For 2024–25, it posted a consolidated net profit of ₹14.46 billion, up 61%, with revenue rising 14% to ₹217.94 billion. A final dividend of ₹10 per share was approved.
