Zydus Lifesciences Invests ₹38.7 Million In Torrent Urja 25

Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. and its subsidiaries have invested ₹38.65 million in Torrent Urja 25 Pvt. Ltd. by subscribing to 3.86 million equity shares, marking a 22.06% stake in the company. 

The investment is part of a four-tranche share subscription agreement inked with Torrent Urja 25 and Torrent Urja 26 Pvt. Ltd., both Torrent group companies involved in the manufacturing of chemicals and chemical-based products.

The first tranche investment in Torrent Urja 26 is expected to be completed within 60 days, the company said, reaffirming plans outlined in its earlier May 28 announcement.
