Hero MotoCorp on Thursday said it will temporarily halt production at four of its manufacturing plants–Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar and Neemrana–from April 17 to April 19 in order to carry out maintenance, upkeep, and facility enhancements to further strengthen their operations.
It plans to resume its operations at these plants from April 21, the company informed in an exchange filing.
The company clarified that the temporary pause will not affect retail demand in domestic or international markets. It added that any production deferment during this period will be efficiently recovered in May.
Meanwhile, the company’s other plants in Tirupati and Halol will continue normal operations.
